If you have a storage tank, the Health & Safety Executive recommends you test the integrity of the tank every 12-18 months depending on the age, condition and what is stored in the tank.

NDT is basically a health check-up for your tank.

In the event a tank or the associated pipework fails, you could be faced with a serious spillage, therefore an environmental incident. NDT will also highlight any areas of the tank and pipework that may enable water ingress, therefore contaminating the contents of the tank, possibly resulting in equipment failure.

We have a number of NDT services that test the overall integrity of any tank and highlight any areas of immediate concern, highlight things that require short term attention and with regular NDT testing. Services include ultrasonic testing, high-pressure testing and magnetic dye testing.
